Taylin Spurlock
Geographer - Educator - Researcher - Designer
Hello there! My name is Taylin.
I am a proud, recent graduate of Appalachian State University with a passion for mapping, data analysis, and graphic design. I specialize in using geospatial data to provide insights and solutions for a variety of industries, such as environmental management, urban planning, and emergency response. Whether it's analyzing satellite imagery or creating interactive maps, I strive to provide high-quality and accurate results. In this portfolio, you will find examples of my work and the tools and techniques I use to achieve them. From mapping health outcomes to investigating environmental impacts on humans, I am dedicated to using geospatial analysis to make a positive impact on the world. As for graphic design, I have experience creating social media posts for the National Park Service, the Tennessee Geographic Information Conference, and Tennessee DECA.

I am currently seeking opportunities in a collaborative environment where I can expand my knowledge and use my unique skillset to continue educating others. I am experienced in a variety of software, including the ESRI suite, R Studio, Adobe suite, and GeoDa. I also have a strong passion for photography, graphic design, and content curation. All of which I would love to incorporate into my career.
